Just Salad, a fast-casual restaurant chain, has launched its latest ordering feature, “Salad AI.” By utilizing personalized survey results, Salad AI provides tailored ordering recommendations to match customers’ culinary preferences, raising the bar for digital customer engagement.
Salad AI functions as a personal recipe assistant, offering customized salad recommendations based on individual lifestyle, nutrition, and flavor preferences. The aim of this digital tool is to simplify menu navigation, reduce decision paralysis, and create a welcoming ordering experience for new guests. It also introduces new flavor combinations to existing Just Salad customers.
The company has always been focused on empowering customers to ‘Eat with Purpose.’ The new Salad AI program takes this mission to the next level by creating a truly personalized dining journey. This technology goes beyond traditional menu recommendations, catering to customers’ unique tastes, dietary habits, and nutritional goals. Nick Kenner, Founder & CEO at Just Salad, believes this innovation will redefine how the company connects with its guests.
Salad AI operates by leveraging insights collected through a simple survey on the Just Salad app. The survey covers three key areas: lifestyle preferences, nutritional goals, and taste. Once completed, Salad AI generates four personalized order recommendations, each featuring a unique salad name, selected craveable flavors, a complete ingredient listing with nutritional information, and a personalized dressing suggestion.
Kenner notes that Salad AI is more than just a recommendation tool – it’s a culinary companion that understands and adapts to each customer’s evolving tastes and nutritional journey. By harnessing the power of AI, Just Salad is enhancing the dining experience and driving customer retention and acquisition through personalized menu items.
Salad AI is now available through the Just Salad mobile app. As Just Salad continues its rapid expansion, it remains committed to making healthy, sustainable eating more accessible and enjoyable for customers everywhere.
