GiftAMeal, the innovative meal-sharing app, proudly announces a significant milestone: surpassing 1,000 restaurant partners across the United States. This achievement highlights the company’s continued growth and impact in addressing food insecurity through its unique platform.
The program has supported 135 food banks and helped provide over 2,350,000 meals to those in need and over an astonishing 2,820,000 pounds of food. In 2025 so far, GiftAMeal signed 124 new restaurants, reflecting its rapidly growing reach and appeal.
“Reaching over 1,000 restaurant partners is a testament to the incredible support from our community, restaurants, and users,” said Andrew Glantz, Founder and CEO of GiftAMeal. “Together, we are making a tangible difference in fighting food insecurity and creating a ripple effect of kindness.”
GiftAMeal works by enabling diners to take photos at participating restaurants. For each photo taken, a meal is donated to a local food bank. Guests are then invited to share their photo on social media to provide more meals. This simple yet effective model engages diners, supports restaurants, and provides vital resources to food-insecure individuals in the restaurants’ very own communities.
“Partnering with GiftAMeal has been a win-win for Snarf’s,” said Helen Wood, Director of Marketing for Snarf’s Sandwiches. “Not only does it allow us to give back and support our community, but it also strengthens customer loyalty by engaging guests in a meaningful, feel-good experience. We’re proud to be part of GiftAMeal’s mission to fight food insecurity. Seeing their growth and the positive impact they’re having is truly inspiring.”
As GiftAMeal continues to grow, it remains dedicated to expanding its reach and impact. With the support of its growing network of restaurant partners and loyal app users, the organization is poised to set even greater milestones in the fight against hunger.
