Recognizing the growing demand among restaurants and other customer-facing businesses for a single, integrated platform that brings together television entertainment, professionally curated music, and in-store messaging, Custom Channels has announced the full integration of its music streaming API into the TrueSync Media platform. The native integration enables TrueSync customers to manage professionally curated music directly from within the TrueSync interface, creating a simpler, more connected approach to managing the in-store customer experience.

The strengthened relationship reflects the shared vision that first brought the two companies together last year. Rather than asking customers to manage separate systems for television entertainment, digital displays, branded music, and customer communications, Custom Channels and TrueSync Media chose to integrate their respective best-in-class technologies into a seamless user experience. The result is a single interface that simplifies operations while preserving the specialized capabilities that have made each company a leader in its category.

According to Custom Channels Senior Director of Partnerships René Arnold, as physical spaces become increasingly connected and digitally intelligent, organizations are looking for technology partners whose solutions work together seamlessly rather than forcing them to compromise between operational simplicity and functionality.

“The integration of the Custom Channels music API into the TrueSync platform represents another important step toward helping customer-facing businesses create more engaging, more consistent in-store experiences with the full range of Custom Channels’ audio capabilities behind it,” Arnold said.

Through the native API integration, TrueSync customers can now manage professionally curated music alongside television entertainment and digital displays from a single platform. Playlists, scheduling, and enterprise music controls are fully integrated into the TrueSync user experience, giving organizations a single interface for managing their in-store media environment. Whether operating a handful of locations or hundreds across the country, customers can centrally manage programming while retaining the flexibility to tailor content by individual location or region. By eliminating separate logins, independent administration, and unnecessary hardware, the integration simplifies day-to-day operations while establishing a scalable foundation for future capabilities, including native audio messaging.

“We never viewed this partnership as simply adding another feature to our platform,” said Josh Miles, Director of National Accounts, North America, TrueSync Media. “We saw an opportunity to bring together two companies that share the same philosophy: helping customer-facing businesses create better experiences through smarter technology. Our customers do not want to manage more systems. They want one intuitive platform that gives them access to the best tools available. That is exactly what this integration delivers.”

The integrated solution is already supporting the Leeds West Big O Tires Franchise Group, demonstrating how customer-facing businesses are simplifying operations while creating more consistent, engaging in-store experiences through integrated technologies.

“Our customers aren’t asking for more technology; they’re asking for technology that works together,” Arnold emphasized. “From the beginning, our partnership with TrueSync Media has been built around a shared commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions without forcing customers to compromise. By embedding our API directly into the TrueSync platform, we’re giving customers the simplicity of a single pane of glass while preserving the professionally curated music experience, enterprise controls, and flexibility that define Custom Channels.”

The current integration enables native management of professionally curated music directly through the TrueSync platform. Both companies are continuing to expand the relationship, with native integration of Custom Channels’ audio messaging capabilities already on the development roadmap, creating an even more comprehensive solution for managing connected customer experiences.
